Higashi-Naruko Onsen/ Osaki City in Miyagi prefecture
Higashi-Naruko Onsen is an historical and venerable Onsen established by Daimyo "Date" since the Edo era.
Most of these inns are small.
All inns can be enjoyed for various types of recuperation, from one day to a long stay.
Each inn uses hot springs originating from Higashi-Naruko Onsen.
The major ingredient named "bijin-no-yu" ( that means you become beautiful by the onsen power) is a biocarbonate of soda, which is useful for many people from children to old age.
Sales talk in most of inns in Naruko-Onsen is a kind of domestic service which heals their minds visited there gently.
There are various kinds of baths, including one for only family use, an outside and a reserved bath.

肘折温泉/山形県大蔵村
肘折温泉郷は、深閑とした山奥の谷間にある秘湯の湯治場です。山形県最上郡大蔵村に位置し、修験の山「葉山」と出羽三山の主峰「月山」に囲まれたカルデラ地形にあります。今から約1200年ほど前、豊後国出身の源翁という老人がこの地を訪れ、山道に迷っていたところ、後光さす老僧が「かつて肘を折った際、この湯に浸かったところたちまち傷が治った」とこの湯の効能を伝えるように老人に言い渡したそうです。それ以来、近くの農山村の人々が農作業の疲れを癒す温泉場として愛されてきました。
